How to create cohesion and connection in your writing

Between and within paragraphs, there must be cohesion. Even contrast can create connection. 

Consider the way writer's use juxtaposition to create a sense of tension or drama in their writing.  Think about how they shift between these points of focus to make connections as they explore their thematic concerns.
